Birdsong

Hello, dear stitching friends,

I hope there is still someone out there.

Last month or so I started a new Prairie Schooler project. I have always been in love with their bird designs and decided to stitch one of them. My choice was Birdsong II. I had posted about my new start in Kaye's Sunday Starts blog. Meanwhile I have stitched on it a little bit more. Here is my progress:

Winter Foursome

Hello blogging friends,

Kaye reminded me that I hadn't shown my latest Prairie Schooler finish here. It is one of the seasonal foursomes, Winter Foursome. It was a lovely stitch but as usual took longer than I thought it would take :)

A Prairie Garden started

Hello friends,

last week I wanted to start something, so I pulled out A Prairie Garden that I kitted up quite a while ago and that I wanted to be my first project for this SAL. As always I started in the center and stitched the first two blocks to the left.

Let me tell you, it was a lot of fun to stitch these flowers. Does anyone know what flower the pink one on the right hand side is?

I know that I will get back to this project very soon.

My first project

Hello, dear friends

I am very happy to be here. I have been a Prairie Schooler fan since I started stitching about 20 years ago and the very first PS book I bought was #15 Village Sampler. So far I haven't stitched it yet but maybe it will be one of my later projects in this SAL.

When I was accepted and joined the group I went through my kitted projects and found this:

A Prairie Garden will be my first project for the SAL and I will start on it as soon as I will have finished my current summer piece.
